Advilionis

The origin of the trunk is unclear. The component -vil- would indicate that it is a compound stem (cf. Rãd-vilas), but the first spot ad- is doubtful. More compounds pers.n. with ad- seems to be unknown. Perhaps the stem advil- is distorted from *aidvil- < *eidvil-, cf. lit. pers.n. Ei̇̃d-gintas, Ei̇̃d-minas (see).
