Akrūtas

Perhaps the nickname is of Germanic origin akrūtas (German: Rekrut) „rekrutas“ (LKŽ I 84), although the difference in place of stress and accusative contradicts such a comparison. However, Ãkrūtas may be an emphatic dialectic from *Akrū́tas.
