Ambrokaitis
AMBROKÁITIS
Etymology
Stem vowel and most likely a dialect from u. See also Abrokaitis. The root ambr- is possibly of the same origin as the surname Ambrãs. For Vedians, the base stem ambras- the beginning ambr- could be perceived as an independent root, among other things, due to the surname Ambras ¹, which in turn is just a morphologically un-Slavic gender ². In addition, possible contamination must be kept in mind: from surnames with abr- ³ and ambr-.
