Etymology
Cf. Latin surn. Aramiņš, Aramina fem. (RTAS 59). Probably our surn. Arãminas, Arami̇̀nas, especially due to the variant Jarami̇̀nas, is connected with the Polish. Jaromin: Hieronim ¹ or with sl. pers.n. Иеpемий, Иеpемия, cf. Brus derivatives from this pers.n. Epoма, Яpoма, Яpoменка and so on. ².
