Bužys

If it is not a dialect from Buožỹs (see) or is processed in some other way, then perhaps a nickname from bužỹs, būžỹs „vabzdys, vabalas; utėlė; vaikų baidyklė, baubas, maumas; piktas žmogus and others“ (LKŽ I 1229-1230). Cf. also Bižỹs (see).
