Based on the graphic image and some other circumstantial facts, primarily the collated pers.n. Bud-i-vydas, which has retained the connecting vowel ², and the surnames Gél-būda, Gel̃-būda, whose second syllable is possibly from bud-, it can be assumed that the root bud- may also have the surname Bùd-ginas.
