Eimanas

Cf. Eimanãvičius, Ei̇̃monas (see). Theoretically, Ei̇̃man et al. surnames can be considered as Baltic compounds: Ei̇̃-manas. This assumption is confirmed, most importantly, by surn. Ei̇̃-mantas (see) ¹. However, Ei̇̃man, and perhaps some others, may have had a different origin. Let's say, of course, that one Ei̇̃man from Krakii is of Jewish origin, the second is of Swiss origin. Therefore, there is reason to associate Ei̇̃man with Limm. Eimanis ², Eimons ³ and derive from German. Eimann, Eymann ⁴. Understandably, some other lit. surnames with eiman-, eimon- can be combined Baltic.
