Cf. Gand-ri̇̀mas (< *Gant-rim), Gand-rim-ãvičius (< *Gant-rim-avičius) (see). Aggregate surn. Cf. lit. Gan-gáila, Gañ-nation ¹; Ave. Ganathe, Gannot ². Sandas gan(t) - more common in the second conjugation. part: lit. Sùr-gantas < *Sur-gantas (see), Daũ-gantas, Gãl-i-gantas, Gẽd-gantas, Pý-gantas, Skaũst-gantas, Svi̇̀r-gantas ³; Ave. Aw-gons, Daw-gon, Pi-gant ⁴. The origin of Sando gan(t)- is not entirely clear. Possibly related to ganýti: gi̇̀nti ⁵. Proliferative.
