Jankeliūnas

Cf. lit. Jankeláitis, Jankelevičius, Jankeliòvičius, Jankelòvičius (see). The origin of the stem is not entirely clear. In some cases, there may be a derivative of the diminutive suffix (cf. Jañkus), in others - the entire surname is borrowed - see Yenkel.
