Perhaps a compound nickname: lit. hole „skylėtas; prakiuręs“ (LKŽ V 704) and eyes. Could have had a pejorative meaning, cf. lit. through the belly „kas bjauriai kalba“, through the belly „besotis“ ¹ and so on.
