Possibly compound example: Labót-akis. The second sandas would be from lit. eyes The origin of the first sandal is unclear. Connection with Lieut. in Slavism labótas „beragis, baužas“ (LKŽ VII 8) is doubtful, because this word is probably known only from the very east of Lithuania (Švenčionĩ).
