Leliuga

Cf. Lẽliūga, Lẽliugis (see). The origin is unclear. BRuss. Лялюга, which is also considered to be of uncertain origin ¹, may also be Baltism. One can suspect that these are derivatives of the suffixes -(i)uga, -(i)uga from lit. to lull, lull or the like. - for more about these words, see Leléika. Similar derivatives occur in the Lithuanian language - lojū̃gas: lóti, pramaniū̃gas: pramanýti, etc. ².
