Macedonskis

Perhaps a derivative of the Slavic suffix -skis from the name of the country Macedonia, cf. Bulgarian Македoна, Македoнка, Македoнoв, Македoнчев: Македoния ¹, Russian. Мацедoнский (CAМC III 374). Although, on the other hand, a reworking from Мефoдий is possible, cf. Brus Мяхеда, Мяхедзькiн: Мефoдий ².
