It is not entirely clear whether suffixes with -eik- are derived from lit. to think „trypti, mindyti“ (LKŽ VIII 232), or from miñti „turėti galvoje, atmintyje, nepamiršti; minėti; spėti; galvoti, tarti, manyti; suprasti, išmanyti“ ¹, to mention „kalboje ar rašte vardyti ką, kalbėti apie ką; prisiminti; turėti galvoje, neužmiršti“ ². With all the white personal pronouns with min(t)- in front of you, the latter assumption would seem a bit more plausible. See also K. Būga, 1958, p. 233.
