Etymology
Cf. Mazarẽvičius (see). Sometimes there can be a nickname from later times, cf. lit. Germanism mózeris „vikrus žmogus“ (LKŽ VIII 375). But perhaps the most possible development is from the baptismal name Tòmas, cf. German Maaser: Thomas ¹, or Mõzė, cf. German Moser: Moses ².
