Natuška
NATUŠKA
Etymology
Cf. Nataškáitis and Natuškáitis (see). It is not entirely clear which sexes - with nataška- or with nataška- - are primary, which are later, secondary. In both cases, these are apparently abbreviations of some longer personal name: in the first case, it is more likely, let's say, from Natãnas, in the second - from Donãtasб, Fortūnãtas, Anatòlijus or the like. For them cf. German Natusch, Natuschke: Donatus, less often - from Renatus, Fortunatus ¹, Russian. Наташка: Натан, Натушка: Фopтунат ².
