Palubaitis

Maybe with the suffix -aitis from *Palubys or something like thimm. For her cf. lit. _palubė_̃, palubỹs „vieta prie lubų; antrosios lubos and others“ (LKŽ IX 275). Cf. still bend Pałuba ¹, Pałubic (SSNO IV 183).
