Rajunčius

Cf. Rajañčius, Rãjencas, Rajiñčis, Rajùncs, Rajùnčas, Rajuñčis, Rajunečas, Rajuničas, Rajuntis, Rojunčas (see). All these surnames seem to be derived from a single base gender, but it is not clear which. It is possible that these are not surnames formed from the common Lithuanian word rajū̃nas „kuris daug ryja“ (LKŽ XI 97), but from the Polonism - the profession name răjentas „notaras“ (ibid.).
