Sekmokas

The origin is not entirely clear. Perhaps with the suffix -okas from *Sekmas, *Sekmys or the like, for their cf. lit. kűekmas „septintas“ (LKŽ XII 334) or perhaps sukkẽ „pasaka, padavimas; niekų kalba, prasimanymas; sėkmė; pasekmė“ ¹.
