Etymology
Possibly double-stemmed eg: Sùd-mantas. For the first contract, cf. lit. pers.n. Sùd-gaidas, Sùd-gintas, Sùd-imtas, Sùd-vinas ¹, possibly lit. surn. Sùd-imtas, Sùd-manas (see). Occurs in pers.n. and with the second sandu sud-: Jó-sudas, Vai̇̃d-sudas (ibid.). Sand's origin is unclear. For me - see Mañgin.
