Etymology
It is not entirely clear whether with the Lithuanian suffix -ūnas it is made from the stem talij-, which is likely to be derived from the baptismal name Anatòlijus ¹, or simply from such abbreviations of the name Anatòlijus as Russ. Toлюня (ibid.) or similar.
