Trapas

The origin of root fracture is unclear. Cf. lit. trapénti, trapinė́ti ¹, perhaps brittle „greitai lūžtantis, lengvai trupantis, byrantis į gabalėlius; netvirtas, nepastovus“ (DLKŽ) or the like.
