Etymology
Perhaps, in one other case, from the ethnonym čeká. Cf. Brus Чэх, Russian. Чехъ ¹, which are associated with the ethnonym bRuss. чэх, Russian. чех „čekas“ ². However, it is probably more likely to be related to Čãkas (see). It is noteworthy that the Polish Due to its frequency, Czech is considered to be of various origins - from the ethnonym Pol. Czech, short for Czesław, etc. ³.
