It is assumed that this is a compound surname: Liù-bartas, cf. Liū́-barta, Liū̃-bartas, Liu-bart-ovičius, Liù-bertas, Liū̃-bertas, Liu-bert-ãvičius, Liu-bort-ovičius (see), Liubartai̇̃ k.
