Nobaras

Cf. Nobaraitis, Noberaitis, Naberas (see). There can be compound surnames from no- and bar-. For no- cf. lit. surn. No-min-áitis and No-vil-aitis ¹ (see), lit. pers.n. No-gáila ². Sandas no-, alternating with na-, is more common in the Prussian nomenclature, cf. No-dobe || No-dab || Na-dab, No-dawe || Na-dawe, No-drous || Na-draws, No-bande, No-bute ³. For bar- see Bargáila. On the other hand, today's surnames with nobar- (nober-) may be later reworkings from Núobara (see) or similar.
